Jared Keo grew up in Hauʻula, Hawaiʻi, within a household deeply rooted in faith and community.

His family regularly gathered for Family Home Evenings, where he and his siblings learned to sing church hymns, play games, and bond. His father served in leadership positions within their church congregation, and his mother was the local ward organist.

Under his mother’s guidance, Jared and his brothers joined the ward choir as pre-teens to bolster the tenor section, which is when he discovered his natural ability to sing intricate vocal harmonies He also immersed himself in cultural arts, dancing hula and Polynesian traditional dance. Throughout high school, he refined his vocal capabilities as a member of the elite Concert Glee Club at Kamehameha Schools Kapalama.
